What is a Partnership Registration?

A partnership is a type of business in which two or more entrepreneurs come together to run the business and share the profits. The persons (entrepreneurs) agreeing to a partnership are called partners, and the business is known as a firm. The minimum number of partners needed is 2, while the maximum number goes up to 100. Several legal laws govern the legality of a partnership firm.

According to the Indian partnership act, 1932, it is not compulsory for partnership firms to register themselves. But firms can avail the various benefits available to registered firms only by registering themselves.
